OK I must apologize myself to Youtube and Sknet, because, after all I WAS able to embed the historical footage of the 1973 version of 'Smoke on the Water'. Probably, my incompetence was due to my being too drunk. But, all things past, enjoy this historical clip of 'Smoke on the Water' of Deep Purple...Again, an interesting historical detail: you see the audience sitting on chairs, as I myself experienced, while watching an AC/DC concert at the end of the seventies, which is nowadays unbelievable...

A couple of months ago, I had said I could not find historical footage of 'Smoke on the Water' of Deep Purple. That 's why I was happy having found on youtube a life recording of it dating of 1973. Unfortunately, I was not able to embed it into my blog. I have said so many times that there are severe problems with embedding youtube clips in Skynetblogs. So, dear sirs of Skynet, why not organise a workshop on embedding, or talking to Google-Youtube on these problems? For as you may know, videoclips are today very hot and popular. They could increase your market share, if only you were willing to take it seriously! For the time being, I am content to bring a later version of 'Smoke on the Water', probably dating of the nineties...
