Deep Purple: Smoke on the Water 1973 Version...
OK I must apologize myself to Youtube and Sknet, because, after all I WAS able to embed the historical footage of the 1973 version of 'Smoke on the Water'. Probably, my incompetence was due to my being too drunk. But, all things past, enjoy this historical clip of 'Smoke on the Water' of Deep Purple...Again, an interesting historical detail: you see the audience sitting on chairs, as I myself experienced, while watching an AC/DC concert at the end of the seventies, which is nowadays unbelievable...

Jimi Hndrix at Woodstock (1969): Star Spangled Banner...
This is an historical footage: it features Jimmi Hendrix at Woodstock in 1969, playing the 'Star Spangled Banner', the national anthem of the United States, but is is a purely subjective interpretation of the anthem, for his guitar mimicks the howling sound of the US planes diving down and trowing napalm bombs upon the Vietnamese woods, and some of you may still remember the image of the Vietnamese girl running, with wounds of the burning napalm on her body, a picture that became world famous, and that contributed very much to influincing the American public opinion that the war in Vietnam was not a fair one and needed to be ended...
Some of you who happen to know me, know my ambivalent feelings about the American Army and the American soldier. World War II was without any doubt a fair and just war, but Vietnam 's wasn 't. But I stil haven 't made out if the War in Irak was justified and just. Could anyone clarify my mind upon this topic?
